沙田發生爆竊案。周五（19日）晚上10時許，徑口路某村屋姓袁（41歲）女住戶返抵家園時，赫見屋內遭人大肆搜掠，一片凌亂，點算下發現一批約值2萬元的首飾、約7萬元現金及約1萬元外幣不翼而飛，立即報警。警方將案件列作「爆竊」處理，沙田警區刑事調查隊已接手跟進。
